meta·tar·sal

: of, relating to, or being the part of the human foot between the tarsus and the phalanges that in humans comprises five elongated bones which form the front of the instep and ball of the foot.

For almost 13 years we have been able to say our family hasnt had any broken bones. This weekend Raymond had a little 4-wheeler accident. He broke 2 metatarsals in his left foot. He gets to lay around for a week with this splint on until the swelling goes down.
Next week he will get a hard cast. Never a dull moment at the Frye house!!
