New Friend ????

What is so funny about this pile of sticks? Looks just like that - a pile of sticks.

What makes it funny (at least for us goofy Fryes) is that last night this whole areas was cleaned up of every stick, branch, twig, etc. Area was spotless. Today this - our friend Mr. Beaver has apparently decided he likes our pier. For the last several months it has been a few houses down. Under the pile of sticks is a hole. Will be interesting to see what he does when we move these sticks.....

Spring Time is Near....

and this year the girls are into fishing with their 'boys' Both girls asked for a fishing pole for their birthday. Amanda picked out a very practical fishing pole - Alyssa wanted the pink and purple one. (For her its all about style). Luckily their brothers are very helpful because Mom does not mess with fish. This time they caught lots of crappie.

Meet HANK!

After many years of no puppies in our house, we found Hank. Hank is Lab/Catahoula. We got him in June 2008. Good thing he has a really laid back personality....

I love this pic of him. He had so much extra skin around his face that he couldnt possible get away from alyssa.

This was his brother.

This is Alyssa teaching Hank about baking pies.

This is what happens when you have dogs and little girls.
But it does have advantages. With tea parties you get snacks.

This is a dog with a really HARD life.

He is a good dog - if he would just quit climbing the fence, he would be even better.
