We went out on a joint anniversary/birthday celebration today to the Galleria area. Wouldnt you know, my camera battery died the first 10 minutes we were there and I had no back-up. At least I was able to get a family pic before it died!!

We still had a great time but it would have been fun to have pics of day. We hit the fountains on Post Oak, walked way too much at the Galleria and then stuffed ourselves to no end at Maggiano's - WOW. We were able to order 'Family Style' here. You pick 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 2 pastas and 2 entrees and then the best part... 2 desserts. They brought us more food when we ran out - which was only salmon - there was so much food and then they offered to pack up what we did eat!! We can eat a couple of more meals on all the leftovers. It was really good. I was told it was a chain owned by Chili's but there is only 1 in Houston.

It was a great day!! (15 years of fun and Andrew will be 11 on Friday)

Awana Awards Night

Another year of Awanas ended and this year the Frye Crew did awesome!! Woo Hoo!!



Adam recieved his Book 1 Ribbon. His leaders were Mr Wolfe and Mr. Beeman.


Glendie was the girls leaders and they completed their Sparkie Book 1.


Mr Wedig was Andrew and Raymonds leader. Andrew recieved his Book 3 Award and Raymond recieved the BIG TIME trophy called the Timothy Award. He completed all 4 books for his level - Truth & Training - in a four year period.

He is Dangerous!

So why should it be a surprise that his birthday dinner request was shark - so he got his wish - Mako Shark. He said it was quite tasty!!
